Click Create new product on the Dashboard (or New course on the Courses page). Add the title, author, description and a 16:9 thumbnail; 1024 × 576 px is recommended.

Choose one-time purchase, payment plan, subscription or free. You can skip this and add pricing later.

Outline the curriculum
Choose Generate with AI to draft sections and lessons from your description, or start from scratch, bulk upload or copy another course. Teachable says it never uses your content to train AI models.

Make slides in Gamma and export them
Create with AI uses Gamma credits. Export from Share, then Export, as PDF, PNG or PowerPoint.

Add lessons and publish
In Curriculum, click New lesson inside a section, then click the lesson name to add content. New lessons start unpublished. When the Setup Guide checklist is done, click Publish course.

Common mistakes
- Letting AI decide the content. The outline is a draft; your experience is the product.
- Recording 40 lessons before anyone has bought. Ship a short version first.
- Forgetting Starter's 7.5% transaction fee when pricing.
