Free plan in real output

50 credits per day on free models. Free output can't be used commercially.

  • Pro: 20 song downloads a month. That's the real cap for a music pack business: 20 tracks a month, whatever the credits say.
  • Free: daily credits for experiments only; you can't sell or monetize the songs.

Cost at your stage

PlanMonthly cost
Month 1 (testing, low volume)Pro$10
Month 12 (working volume)Premier$30

Break-even: Pro at $10/mo is covered by one $10 music pack sale.

Month-12 plan is our estimate of what a solo seller at steady weekly output needs, based on the plan limits above. Costs exclude tax.

Commercial use and output rights

Commercial use on paid plans only

“If you are a user who has subscribed to the Pro or Premier paid tier of the Service, Suno hereby assigns to you all of its right, title and interest in and to any Output owned by Suno and generated from Submissions made by you through the Service, provided such Output will remain subject to these Terms of Service including any applicable commercial use restrictions.”

Your data and AI training: The terms allow Suno to use your submissions 'to train, develop, fine-tune or otherwise improve the Service'.

This is a summary of public terms, not legal advice. Terms change; re-read the clause before client work.

Hidden costs and gotchas

  • Downloads are capped (20 a month on Pro), separately from credits.
  • Commercial rights only cover songs made while subscribed to Pro or Premier.
  • The yearly prices need annual payment.

First-hour setup

  1. Experiment on Free to find a style prompt.
  2. Upgrade to Pro before making anything you'll sell.
  3. Generate, pick the best take and download (counts against the 20).
  4. Trim and master in Audacity.
  5. Keep a record of the subscription date for each track you sell.
