What it's for
It's the core tool of our short-form clipping service note. It finds candidate clips so you spend your time polishing, not searching.
- Turning podcasts and streams into Shorts

Free plan in real output
60 credits a month, clips up to 1080p with a watermark, no editing, and clips can only be exported for 3 days. Opus doesn't publish a credit-to-minute rate on the pricing page we read.
- Free: 60 credits a month. If 1 credit is about 1 minute of source video (an assumption; the page doesn't publish the rate), that's about one 1-hour podcast a month, with watermarked clips.
- Pro: 300 credits, about five 1-hour sources a month on the same assumption, enough for a weekly-podcast client.
Cost at your stage
| Plan | Monthly cost | |
|---|---|---|
| Month 1 (testing, low volume) | Free | $0 |
| Month 12 (working volume) | Pro | $29 |
Break-even: Pro at $29/mo is covered by one clipping client paying $30 or more a month.
Month-12 plan is our estimate of what a solo seller at steady weekly output needs, based on the plan limits above. Costs exclude tax.

Learning difficulty
1/5: Paste a link and get clips; judging which ones are worth posting is the real skill.
When not to use it
Not worth it for a single video a month (free trials of rivals cover that). Skip it when footage needs manual storytelling edits.
