What it's for

The first-pass engine in our translation and localization note, because quality is high and Pro doesn't train on your text.

  • First-pass translation for clients
  • Translating documents with formatting
  • Glossaries for terminology

Free plan in real output

A free translator is available. Paid Pro plans add higher character limits and promise no training on your texts. The pricing page showed EUR prices for our check location; US prices may differ.

  • Individual: 300,000 characters a month ≈ 50,000 words (at about 6 characters per word including spaces), about 25 client pages of 2,000 words.

Cost at your stage

PlanMonthly cost
Month 1 (testing, low volume)Free translator$0
Month 12 (working volume)Individual$8

Break-even: Individual (about €7.49/mo) is covered by one short translation job a month.

Month-12 plan is our estimate of what a solo seller at steady weekly output needs, based on the plan limits above. Costs exclude tax.

Commercial use and output rights

Not a content generator. Translation output for your own documents; client confidentiality is the main concern, and Pro states 'No data training'.

Your data and AI training: Pro plans list 'No data training' on the pricing page.

This is a summary of public terms, not legal advice. Terms change; re-read the clause before client work.

Hidden costs and gotchas

  • Prices shown to us were in EUR; your local price may differ.
  • File translations are capped per month.
  • The annual billing discount requires a yearly commitment.

First-hour setup

  1. Try the free translator on a sample.
  2. Create a glossary for client terms.
  3. Translate the file, then post-edit every sentence.
  4. Track characters used per job.
  5. Upgrade to Pro before handling confidential client documents.
