ElevenLabs vs Murf

Both turn scripts into narration. ElevenLabs publishes credit-based plans for its app; the Murf pricing page we read only listed API rates, so the cost comparison below is app plans against API usage.

Verdict

  1. 1

    Pick ElevenLabs

if you want the widest voice library and cloning, and you'll sell the audio: commercial use starts on Starter ($6/mo); the free plan is non-commercial.

  2. 2

    Pick Murf

if you're a developer paying per character: Falcon is listed at $0.01 per 1,000 characters with a $10 free API credit. Murf's terms allow commercial use of its voices but not reselling the voices themselves.

Bottom line: For a voiceover side business, ElevenLabs is the safer default because its app plans and commercial terms are clearly published. Check Murf's Studio plans in the app before choosing it for non-API work.
