Train AI as a freelance domain expert on Mindrift (Toloka)
Mindrift is a project-based platform run by Toloka, an AI data company founded in 2014, where freelancers called AI Trainers write expert prompts, evaluate and justify ratings of AI answers, and create training data for tech companies. Apply with your CV and your field (it lists 90+ domains, from STEM, coding and law to consulting, creative writing and linguistics), pass a short assessment and verify your identity through Persona, then wait to be matched to projects. There are two tiers: open tasks anyone on the platform can take, paid a fixed amount per task, and specialist projects for people with real domain skills, which pay much more. You are an independent freelancer and handle your own taxes. Task volume is uneven, and Mindrift itself says availability depends on how many projects match your skills, so treat it as one income source among several and never pay anyone who claims to sell Mindrift access.
